Toy Distribution 
Minimum Age w/ Adult: 14+

Volunteers are needed to distribute bags of toys to families as they drive up to collect them from Wilson County Christmas for All's facility throughout November and December.

Free Clothing Room 
Minimum Age w/ Adult: 13+

The holidays can be a tough time of the year. Nashville Dream Center is opening its Free Clothing Room in Lebanon on November 1 and December 6. Volunteers are needed to assist with shopping, check-out, cleanup, the café, and various other roles, ensuring a smooth and joyful experience for everyone involved.

Holiday Party: Parent & Family Connection Event 
Minimum Age w/ Adult: 15+

Nurture the Next, works with families to support parents in creating loving homes that make their children feel nurtured. This December, they are celebrating Wilson County families by coming together for a day of holiday fun! Volunteers are needed on December 6, from 2:30-5:30 PM to serve food to families, help with craft stations, and help with setup and clean up of the event space.

BINGO at Harmony Senior Living
Minimum Age w/ Adult: 6+

Come hang with a more seasoned (but very lively) bunch! In addition to riveting games of BINGO, November's activities include a Butter Bean auction and in December there will be a Christmas craft, cookies, and cocoa.

Organize Santa's Workshop
Minimum Age w/ Adult: 18+

Volunteers are needed to help spruce up Santa's Workshop before the season kicks into full gear! From cleaning up the workshop to organizing toys and tidying up the Christmas Tree building – there's something for everyone. Help Give A Little Christmas and make sure Santa’s ready to roll when December arrives.

Caregiver Respite Night
Minimum Age w/ Adult: 12+

Give parents of children with special needs time to prepare for the holidays or a much-needed break. As a volunteer with the Tennessee Caregiver Coalition, you will be paired one-on-one with a child to ensure they have an enjoyable evening filled with engaging activities and support. Whether you’ve volunteered before or it’s your first time, your involvement will have a meaningful impact. There will be training and dinner before the event starts! November 16 and December 21 from 5:00-8:00 PM.

Mobile Food Pantry
Minimum Age w/ Adult: 12+

Many families in our community rely on food pantries to make ends meet. SALT's quarterly drive-thru food pantry provides fresh produce, staple pantry items, and more to Wilson County residents in need. Help make the holidays a little easier for our neighbors by volunteering at this month's Mobile Food Pantry on December 14 from 7:45 AM-12:00 PM. This is a perfect opportunity to involve the whole family!

Grocery Giveaway
Minimum Age w/ Adult: 13+ 

Nashville Dream Center in Lebanon is helping to make the holidays a little easier by giving out free groceries on November 16 and December 21 from 2:00-5:00 PM. Volunteers are needed to help fill the carts with groceries.

Christmas Angels 
Minimum Age w/ Adult: 16+

Ten Christmas Angels are needed to help wrap and deliver Christmas gifts to families who have been selected by Jesus Provisions Ministries and Care Center. Join the wrapping party on December 21 at 1 PM.

Write Letters to Seniors
Minimum Age w/ Adult: 2+
Help bring some cheer to isolated seniors, seniors in nursing homes, and/or disabled individuals in our communities by sending them heartfelt letters, letting them know that we care and haven't forgotten about them. GNRC is looking for uplifting letters that will bring their recipients some joy! If you are interested in sending letters and/or art to seniors in the community, please express interest at the link below and more details will be sent to you. Children are welcome to contribute, but an adult is required for minors to sign up.

Transport Unhoused Friends to Shelter
Minimum Age w/ Adult: 18+ (w/o Adult: 21+)
Van drivers are needed daily from 7:00-8:15 AM and 4:00-5:30 PM to pick up unhoused neighbors and take them to and from Compassionate Hands. All you need is your TN license! Training materials will be provided by Compassionate Hands to assist you with performing the responsibilities of this role.

Hope Shop Cashier 
Minimum Age w/ Adult: 13+
Volunteer as a cashier at The Hope Shop, Compassionate Hands' storefront for their Project Reset program. As a cashier, you’ll check out guests as they “purchase” items using their earned points. This innovative approach allows participants to make choices about what they need, helping them regain a sense of agency and dignity. Project Reset is built on the belief that effective charity empowers rather than diminishes. By volunteering, you’ll not only assist in the day-to-day operations of the shop, but you’ll also help build mutual relationships that promote skills, social capital, and long-term development.

Angel Tree for Older Adults 
Minimum Age w/ Adult: 1+
Be paired to shop for a one of GNRC's Guardianship clients who need clothing, hygiene items, a book or favorite magazine and/or some of their favorite snacks this holiday season. Wish lists items average about $50 per client. Once you express interest using the link below you will be sent a client's name and wish list, and then you get to go shopping! Gift bags must be dropped off by November 29, to ensure a timely delivery.
