There are almost a million new cases of heart failure a year in the US and many of those people will face the uncertainty, fear and isolation of advanced heart failure. So, we equip them with mentors and materials about options and what to expect and provide emotional support in the hospital. Most live far away from treatment or need help recovering, so we assist with financial and short-term housing needs so they can receive care.
